Auburn returns six offensive linemen with quality starting experience this fall despite losing starting right tackle Brodarious Hamm and veteran Tashawn Manning after the end of last season. While the recruiting up front didn’t improve in 2022—the Tigers signed just one offensive lineman in the class, with freshman E.J. Harris arriving in the spring—Auburn benefitted from some internal recruiting, of sorts: Four experienced seniors opted to take advantage of the extra year of eligibility the NCAA granted to players due to the pandemic. That was a boon for Auburn’s offensive line, with center Nick Brahms, guard Brandon Council and tackles Austin Troxell and Alec Jackson all returning to bolster a group that’s frontloaded with upperclassmen.
