The Denver Broncos haven’t posted a winning season since 2016 when the Orange Crush forged one of the NFL’s most formidable defenses. Looking to reattain that status, the Broncos are in need of generating a better pass rush, especially considering the potential loss of All-Pro linebacker Von Miller for the season due to injury.

Fortunately for the Broncos, they may already have the player they need to step up waiting in the wings. According to Pro Football Focus, defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones is poised for a breakout sophomore campaign in 2020. PFF tabbed the former Ohio State standout as their top breakout pick on the team.

“We pegged Jones as more of a second-round talent than a third-round one, largely because of his down-for-down dominance in the Ohio State pass-rush,” PFF wrote. “And he looked like he proved us right last year.”
