The Denver Broncos’ offensive line has gone through several changes this season. One of the biggest changes is rookie center Lloyd Cushenberry filling in for Connor McGovern, who left the team during free agency.
Through the first eight games of his career, Cushenberry has had up-and-down performances, but he’s trending in the right direction.
“I think he’s getting better,” Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Wednesday. “He’s that type of guy. He’s very prideful, he’s very smart, he understands the game. Playing center in the NFL is a hard position to play both physically and mentally.
