Former Iowa Hawkeye and current Tampa Bay Buccaneer offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs has had an exciting two weeks to begin his NFL career. In his first professional game, he was often matched up against five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Jordan, Wirfs held his own and impressed in the debut.
This past weekend, during a 31-17 win over the Carolina Panthers, Wirfs continued to prove himself to his teammates that he has the potential to be one of the anchors on the offensive line. On Monday, Pro Football Focus tweeted that Wirfs was the highest-graded offensive rookie following week two.
