Ever since Jeff Grimes came to BYU, he had made the offensive line a priority. It makes sense given Grimes’ background as a longtime offensive line coach. So far in the 2021 recruiting class, he has added Weston Jones, a three-star player out of Michigan who has a handful of P5 offers from schools in the midwest. Today, he added another big time offensive lineman to the 2021 class in Chaparral High School’s Elia Migao.
When we say that Migao is a big commitment for BYU, we mean that figuratively and literally. First, he’s a big time recruit. He reports offers from schools like Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan State, Nebraska and Washington State. He is a big time addition to BYU’s recruiting class because of the talent that he brings to the football field. He’s an incredibly strong offensive lineman who has the talent to do big things at the next level. If he wasn’t, he wouldn’t report the impressive offer list that he has.
