One of the clear observations from the first half of the Cincinnati Bengals game was that the offensive line wasn’t going to give Joe Burrow any time in the pocket.

Despite the fact the Bengals lost in a most-Bengal way, 16-13, to the Los Angeles Chargers, fans can take a bit of solace in the fact that O-line did, indeed, give Burrow the time he needed to attempt a second-half comeback.

“The O-line really stepped up in the second half and played really, really well,” Burrow said. “They gave me some time back there and gave Joe (Mixon) some nice running lanes. I was really happy with the way they bounced back in the second half.”
