On Thursday, offensive lineman Devontay Love-Taylor made an announcement that will certainly make Florida State fans happy.
Love-Taylor announced on Twitter that he is committed to returning for the 2021 season.
Love-Taylor transferred to FSU from FIU last offseason as he played in seven games for the Seminoles in 2020. He suffered a season-ending injury against Pittsburgh on Nov. 7.
The return of Love-Taylor is huge because he was one of the primary reasons the Seminoles offensive line showed improvement this season. Also, Love-Taylor started at three different positions for the Seminoles this season and played left tackle at the time of his injury.
Love-Taylor returning also will give the Seminoles more depth next year as they will still have a young group returning.
“I will be a part of the turnaround that is coming to Florida State,” Love-Taylor said in the statement. “I’m fully committed to the CLIMB and being a Seminole.”
