Three-star offensive lineman Tyler Jeffries had tears in his eyes after he committed to Indiana football in front of teammates, friends and family at Alcoa. He said the moment was beyond even his childhood dreams.

The 6-5, 298-pound Jeffries announced his commitment to the Hoosiers on Tuesday after visiting them July 25. He said he called Indiana coach Tom Allen about the decision as soon as he left campus.

Jeffries chose Indiana from among 17 Division I offers, including Cincinnati, Florida State, Miami and Virginia Tech. He is the No. 23 prospect in Tennessee for the Class of 2023.
