Caleb Banks, a three-star defensive end from Southfield Michigan, announced his commitment to Louisville. Banks, a former Arizona commitment before decommitting on Oct. 22, is the 22nd commitment of the Cardinals 2021 class. He chose Louisville despite having offers from Michigan State, Tennessee and many other schools.
Banks will join former high school teammate Christian Fitzpatrick at Louisville. Both played at Southfield High School in Southfield, Michigan.
The 6-foot-6, 255-pound strongside defensive end is the fifth commitment on the defensive line, which shows the importance the program is putting up front.
