Miami Hurricanes graduate defensive end Quincy Roche has been graded as the top returning edge rusher in college football by Pro Football Focus. On Wednesday, Roche was rewarded by being named as a preseason All-American by PFF. The PFF preseason All-American team includes players whose seasons have been canceled.

Roche transferred to Miami during the 2020 offseason shortly after the Hurricanes added graduate transfer quarterback D’Eriq King from Houston. Roche had 19 tackles for loss and 12 sacks for Temple in 2019. Roche was among the elite edge rushers in college football in 2019 as graded by PFF.

Roche was a dominant force for Temple this past season, producing a 93.3 pass-rush grade that ranked second to only Chase Young. He had five games last year in which he recorded more than seven pressures, something only one other FBS edge rusher accomplished (only one had four games, too).
