If the Miami Hurricanes were going to have a chance to compete against Clemson on Saturday night, UM need the offensive line to play at a high level.

That didn’t happen as the Tigers clearly won that battle on the line of scrimmage as defensive coordinator Brent Venables looked to neutralize the UM run game and force quarterback D’Eriq King to win the game throwing outside the numbers.

Right tackle Jarrid Williams was the highest graded run blocker on the offensive line, according to PFF, with a 62.6 grade. He was the only player on the line to earn a run blocking grade of over 60.0 for the Hurricanes.

Here’s a look at the line’s run blocking grades.

– Jarrid Williams: 62.6 run blocking grade
– Zion Nelson 58.3 62.6 run blocking grade
– Corey Gaynor: 57.7 run blocking grade
– DJ Scaife: 47.8 62.6 run blocking grade
– John Campbell: 47.5 62.6 run blocking grade
– Jakai Clark: 44.4 run blocking grade
