If you’re looking for a strength for Michigan heading into the 2020 season, Don Brown will tell you the defensive line is in the conversation. The defensive coordinator raved about the group taking to the trenches in the maize and blue this fall.

During an appearance on the Inside Michigan Football radio show on Monday, Brown was asked out the Wolverines’ defensive line heading into the 2020. It’s pretty clear that the DC is liking what he’s working with right now.

“We’re much deeper in the front four, and we’ve got guys that are coming along,” Brown said, per Angelique Chengelis of The Detroit News. “So now you’ve got to re-open the playbook and say OK, what plays to these guys’ strengths?”

Brown is really a fan of returning starters Kwity Paye and Aidan Hutchinson.

“If there’s a better tandem, I wouldn’t know it and I wouldn’t want it.”
