Auburn’s 2021 class took a hit Thursday night when three-star offensive tackle Caleb Johnson flipped his commitment from the Tigers to Notre Dame.

Johnson, a 6-foot-7, 295-pounder out of Ocala, Fla., had been committed to Auburn since May 15. That changed Thursday, when he became the second defector from the Tigers’ 2021 class — and the second to offensive lineman to decommit from Auburn this cycle. Three-star offensive tackle J’Marion Gooch previously decommitted from Auburn and flipped to Tennessee in August.
