In the class of 2021, Cristobal and his coaching staff entered the week with an impressive haul – All-American Bowl offensive tackle Bram Walden, Under Armour All-American center Jackson Light and versatile four-star guard/tackle Jonah Miller.
Tuesday provided the group’s headliner, as consensus four-star offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia announced his commitment to Oregon over fellow finalist Arkansas, BYU, USC, Utah, Utah and Virginia.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman, out of Orem High School (Orem, Utah), also held offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Stanford, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin and others.
Suamataia is rated the nation’s No. 59 overall prospect in the class of 2021, making him the second highest-rated offensive line pledge in program history, behind only Penei Sewell.
