Buckeyes defensive tackle Haskell Garrett has had to overcome a lot in order to see the field this season, and he’s turned his first year as a starter into not just a campaign for the best three-technique in the Big Ten but perhaps the nation. According to Pro Football Focus, the Ohio State senior has become the highest-graded defensive lineman in college football with an overall rating of 91.3.

“That was big,” Garrett said of the pick-six. “We had them backed up and we wanted to flip the field and win the battle of field position. So, I was just doing my job and I made a play. As coach (Urban) Meyer used to always say, big players make big plays and I was just in the right spot at the right time.”
