Mohamed Toure was explosive on the Rutgers defense today in a 38-27 win over Michigan State. Toure made an impact as an edge pass rusher, getting to the quarterback three times, two of which went for sacks. The other play caused a pass to fall incomplete on a play that was originally ruled a fumble. A second-look reversed the call. And while Toure was not a starter, he came in as a very effective edge rusher.

“We do that on third down, we kind of just move some guys around and have some different positions in different packages,” head coach Greg Schiano said post-game. “We probably didn’t scratch the surface on the packages we have but it’s got to be piece by piece.”
