Johnny Bowens committed to Texas A&M on Christmas Day 2021.
On Tuesday, just days after an unofficial visit to Oregon during what became a massive weekend for the Ducks, Bowens left the Aggies’ class. The 4-star defensive lineman decommitted, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Bowens lists himself as a 6-foot-5, 245-pound defensive end. He’s played all over the line for Judson High School in Converse, Texas. According to the 247 Composite, Bowens is the 36th-best defensive lineman in the class and the 40th-best prospect from the state of Texas.
