Three-star offensive line prospect Amos Talalele flipped his commitment from Cal to USC on Monday, giving the Trojans an offensive line target they’ve had their eyes on for a while in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

Talalele initially committed to the Golden Bears a few weeks ago in a bit of a surprise move, but he visited USC last weekend and saw enough to change his mind. Talalele is listed by 247Sports as a defensive lineman, but the Santa Clara, Calif., native will play offensive line for the Trojans. He’s the first commitment to come out of USC’s big recruiting weekend over the past few days, and more are expected to follow soon.

He is the second offensive line commit in a class that features six blue-chip prospects and is headlined by two five-star players: quarterback Malachi Nelson and receiver Zachariah Branch.
