Kyle Whittingham’s Utes are in their first week of practice and recently just put the pads on for the first time in many, many months. Once the pads are on, that’s when linemen are able to really get after it.

Utah returns a very promising depth chart of offensive linemen. With four returning starters and many other key pieces returning, the group has 74 starts and and 121 games of experience between them.

“Orlando has really developed over the years,” Harding said of Umana, who has often been the most steady lineman over the last couple of season. “He has done a nice job and has continued to add things to his game in terms of protection calls and he has always identified the defense. Having that experience certainly does help and the focus now is to continue to develop depth there. He has done a nice job.
