What has been bubbling for a few weeks came to surface Monday as Chesterfield (Va.) Matoaca edge rusher Keyshawn Burgos decommitted from Virginia.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Burgos committed to the Cavaliers in mid July, but he made an official visit to Virginia Tech last weekend in the wake of Cavaliers coach Bronco Mendenhall announcing he was leaving the program.

Virginia hired Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliott to run its program, but Burgos decided to pull back his commitment and look elsewhere.
