The ball just keeps on rolling! Yet another commitment for Kalen DeBoer and his staff, this one comes from Menlo-Atherton (Calif.) offensive lineman Soane Faasolo. Faasolo is currently rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports and the 247 Composite, and chose Washington over offers from BYU, Cal, and Oregon State. He’s a gigantic get, literally, the two-way player for Menlo-Atherton is currently listed at 6’9, and 260 pounds, and has the potential to be a star after a few years in a college weight room.

With the build of a prototypical tackle, Faasolo has all the traits an offensive line coach at the college level is looking for. He moves very well for a player his size, has a frame that can easily support another 30-40 pounds, and is impressively coordinated, which is not something that comes easily for a lot of high school offensive linemen. He’s also the ideal player to help Scott Huff wrap up his offensive line class for the class of 2023.
