Washington’s monster recruiting weekend continued into Sunday, as three-star Orange (Calif.) Modena offensive lineman Elishah Jackett announced a commitment to the Huskies while on his official visit — and three-star Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco defensive lineman Sua Lefotu later joined him.
The commitments give Washington eight this week and six since Friday’s big official visit weekend began. The Huskies now have 12 prospects committed in their 2023 class.
Rated No. 431 overall and 36th among tackles, Jackett is one of the top O-line prospects on the West Coast. He also took visits to UCLA, California and Utah. Jackett is the second offensive lineman to commit to Washington this weekend, joining three-star Aurora (Colo.) Grandview tackle Zachary Henning.
Lefotu chose Washington over six other reported offers, including Arizona, Arizona State and Michigan State. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, he is teammates with three-star linebacker Deven Bryant, who also is committed to Washington..
